Show Me The Path To Fighting Faith
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:16–17 (NKJV))
I am placing the Greater Saint John Nation on alert that it is faith fighting time. This is the year that you are going to need a faith that will fight for you. Please do not take this theme lightly because you are going to need a fighting faith to make it in 2019. Fighting faith is necessary for us individually and collectively, but it must begin individually.
It must begin with the individual because you must be strong first before you can strengthen someone else. You must learn how to lay hands on yourself before laying hands on someone else. Shakespeare said in Hamlet “To thine own self be true.”
To experience the results of the fighting faith, you need to be cognizant of the following three items:
I. Foundation
There will be a “back to basic” movement in your life. The Lord will remind you and solidify the essentials of your life. These are foundational moves that will stabilize you for your future.
II. Revelation
The Lord will reveal to you a deeper dimension and level of your life. This revelation comes with a weight - the weight to do more for the Kingdom of God.
III. Elevation
This is the reward for accomplishing the goal of the fighting faith. This elevation will be bi-directional. If you remain faithful, the elevation will occur in the natural as well as in the spiritual.
For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another. (Psalm 75:6–7 (NKJV))
