Born in Baltimore, MD, Lady Denise Gresham was raised in a loving Christian environment which was instrumental in preparing her for ministry alongside her husband and pastor, Bishop Kevin Vincent Gresham Sr., and serving the disciples of the Greater Saint John Cathedral in Upper Marlboro, MD.
From her humble beginnings at Pleasant Hope Baptist Church, First Lady was a member of the youth choir, junior missionary and usher board, and served as an annual delegate for the Congress of Christian Education. Because of her early involvement and continual service in ministry, she has developed into a dynamic inspirational and motivational "minister" of God's word.
A product of the Baltimore City public school system, Lady Gresham earned two Associate of Arts degrees from the Community College of Baltimore. Her dedication, commitment, behind the scenes attitude and heart for service was the reason for her selection as a Deaconess. Her loving care and concern for God's servant (Bishop Gresham) and their two sons, Kevin, II and Dishon; the many personal sacrifices she makes for the purpose of Kingdom building, and her godly lifestyle qualifies her as “The” First Lady of Greater Saint John Cathedral. She is very passionate about women and their spiritual development.
“For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5 (NKJV
